Description
ngtoys Store KODASCOPE MODEL B KODAK 16MM FILM PROJECTOR & CINE' KODAK MODEL B 16MM VIDEO CAMERA THIS AUCTION INCLUDES: The Kodascope Model B Projector Instruction Manual for Projector Projector Carry Case Original Kodak take up Reel Agfa 16mm film reel (for looks) Original power cord Spare bulb Kodak Model B 16MM Video Camera Original Carry Case for Video Camera CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE THE KODASCOPE MODEL B CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE These cameras we're made in the late 20's between 1927 and 1929. They were the Cadillac of all film projectors of that era, and incorporated some remarkable new technologies, including a self-threading film loading mechanism. It would appear there were quite a few made for that day, in the few years this model was produced. It seems that more than 10,000, but less the 20,000 of these were ever produced. I have oiled this machine. It has 17 points to be oiled (Instr. Manual pg. 34) when it was run regularly. I am not a projector technician. I very carefully and briefly tested the projector first manually and then under power. The self threading feature is working. This Model B will project an image. With that said: This item is NOT intended to be used as a working Film Projector It is an 80 year old rare collectible, to be prized as the unique piece of entertainment memorabilia that it is; as a great conversation piece; and as the ultimate accessory item to show off your media room. CINE' KODAK MODEL B 16MM VIDEO CAMERA To go along with the Kodascope B this auction also contains a Kodak Model B 16MM Video Camera Circa 1920’s with its original travel case. This early vintage EASTMAN KODAK CINE' KODAK MODEL B 16-mm camera was manufactured from 1925-1931. The leather clad metal housing measures about 9 by 5 by 3-inches. It is equipped with an astigmatic 20-mm f/3.5 lens that closes down to f/16.0. The shutter is single-speed and it accommodates both 50-ft and 100-foot spools. It has a waist-level view finder and a double popup finder. The camera originally sold for $150. The leather shows little wear from use and handling, and overall. this 80-year-old camera is in very good condition. The drive winds smoothly, the drive spool and shutter run well, the housing is sturdy and the lens and viewer appear to be free of defects although there are a few dirt specks in the viewer. THE FINE PRINT Last bit of info: I would love to be in a position to hold this as a regular open ended auction, but I'm not. This is set up with a fair Buy-it-Now based on similar sales and a reserve set to protect that posistion. I hope that doesn't take too much of the fun out of this offering. These are beautiful pieces worthy of the best spot in your collection. Thank you for your interest. Payment Due: within 7 days of end of auction. Payment Methods: PayPal with confirmed addresses only Money Orders or Cashiers Check Shipping Costs: $30.00 PLEASE NOTE: We ship to Continental US only However if you are outside of Continental US email request for my consideration before bidding. That brings my auction information to a close. But, before I go I must pay homage To eBay seller fmpguru. I’ve spent a lot of time on this auction to present the item the best I can, inspired or more accurately challenged by the work of fmpguru. I can’t imagine the amount of labor put into his auctions for similar items. Hey, I hope its OK with eBay to make this mention. Guess I better check on that.
