This scope is in excellent condition optically, mechanically, and cosmetically. I am the original owner and the scope has seen careful use. The optics are clean and razor sharp, and the glass, mirrors, and multi-coatings are in excellent condition. The OTA is in excellent cosmetic condition showing only minor signs of use, and the paint gleams with a new appearance. The tripod is in excellent condition and it is fully adjustable. This scope is very portable, and one person of average strength can handle it without problems. The HUGE 10" high-contrast optics offer lots of light gathering ability and can resolve deep sky objects with ease. it is a Meade LX200 without UHTC (Ultra High Transmission Coating), does not have SMT (Smart Mount Technology), and is not a GPS (Global Positioning System), this scope has the earlier GO TO computer guiding system.
