It was made by Meopta in Prerov city in former Czechoslovakia. The production of this camera started probably in 1946 and in 1957 was manufactured the newer type - Mikroma II. I can not find until now if it was manufactured during this whole period 1946-57.It works with 16 mm single perforated film.The main difference to Mikroma II is fact that Mikroma is without shutter release. The shutter fires when the advance lever is moving back. Camera is much rarer than Mikroma II. This camera has engraved Meopta's logo.35mm film shows the size of this miniature gem.Prices for Mikroma cameras grew extremely here during last time. I saw on turist attractive places in shops in Prage one even for price approximately $220. I am afraid that if the situation will continue go worse I shall not be able offer them regularly. Chrome made by Meopta in this time is very easy to wear but the metal bellow it has very similar color so it is visible only if you look carefully. This is with numerous brassings on most surface. Because metal has similar color like paint it is not so visible but brassings are large - it is not visible on pictures (you need correct shine to see it). Find original Mikroma without brassing is harder and harder. .Including original p but without case. Including pair of cassettes inside.Camera works properly, shutter speeds look appropriate. Glass on lens is clean, no fungus, no scratches. Viewfinder is clean. I accept payments to USA address!
