The deck is in good working condition and plays and records fine. The deck was well maintained. Sony DVW-A500 S/N 14572 with BKDW-505 Board, 75,161 operation, 14,095 drum, 6948 tape, 32,484 threading Resettable Hours: 6855 drum, 6948 tape Digital Betacam Editing Recorder. The DVW-A500features Betacam andBetacam SP playback capability, pre-read capability for video and audio, serial digital V/A interface (SMPTE 259M) along with built-in Component analog video and audio interfaces, and an optional Composite analog input (BKDW-505).Built-in A/D and D/A converters for both audio and video signals allow for direct interfacing with analog equipment.Delivers picture in shuttle mode up to speeds of approx. 50 times normal playback. The DVW-A500 also has a Program Play mode which allows video recordings to be reproduced over a range of15% normal speed, in increments of 0.1%. Also included is a Sony BVM-14F5U 14" Broadcast Color Monitor with the BKM-20D SDI Input Module. The monitor is in good working condition and makes a nice picture. In underscan the picture has a little deflection problem on the lower left side of image. The BVM-14F5U is the standard definition critical evaluation monitor for the edit suite or an engineering location. It is a 13-inch, 800 line CRT with industry standard phosphors for display of both 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios. The unit has all set-up controls on its exterior front panel. A PCMCIA slot lets the engineer save custom color settings and transfer them to any other Sony F5U monitor or a BKM-10R control panel to multiple monitors. As standard equipment the monitor offers analog component input with looping output along with sync. Four slots for optional digital and analog inputs, the unit can have as many as 24 Composite, 12 SDI, 9 Component, or 8 Y/C inputs.
